During season 8, Angel Batista wasn’t always played by David Zayas. His son, David Zayas Jr., stands in for his father in some scenes, as the two look remarkably alike. Dexter has a large scar on his left side that is visible throughout the first season. Later, in season 2, the scar has moved to his right side, leaving his left side unmarked. Main Theme Written by Rolfe Kent Performed by Rolfe Kent. Dexter is easily one of my favorite TV shows of all time, and one of the few shows I can watch multiple times without getting tired of. It’s hard for me to put into words how much I love this show. The only thing that’s not good about it is the ending. The ending was pretty bad, but that still doesn’t take away from how good the show as a whole is. You should watch this show for Michael C. Hall’s performance as Dexter alone. He’s amazing in this. If you haven’t seen this incredible show yet, make sure you give yourself enough time because you’ll want to watch it as quickly as possible. Once you start watching, you won’t be able to stop.
